Count on an uproariously good time for kids and parents alike with Sunshine the Clown, Lady Sunshine and her sidekick, Lady J. Castle kids can participate in many fun-filled activities such as arts and crafts, silly hat day, fabulous face and body painting, and making a message in a bottle. The Castle is home to one of the largest pools in Ocean City. Our pool is a 25 meter Olympic-sized pool with a diving board. The pool ranges in depth from three feet to twelve feet accommodating guests of all ages. Red Cross certified lifeguards are on duty (in season). Lounge chairs and tables with chairs are available surrounding the perimeter of the pool. Food and beverage service is also provided poolside. The Castle in the Sand Hotel, an affordable ocean city accommodation, is popular with guests and returning guests with live local entertainment in season. From mid-June until Labor Day, Coconuts, our open-air, oceanfront beach restaurant, hosts live musical entertainment by popular local musicians. On Coconuts patio you can sit back, relax, enjoy a super-stuffed sandwich fresh off the grill, your favorite frosty frozen drink or a cold beer, and listen to your favorite beach tunes. Our bands play top 40 as well as many of the "oldies but goodies" that everyone loves to hear. In season, entertainment is daily from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, followed by Happy Hour from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Our Ocean City Maryland beachfront hotel is complete with a beach volleyball court. Located directly off of our beautiful palm-tree lined patio, you will find our full size sand court. Volleyballs can be rented through the front desk at no charge. This is a popular spot for famiiles and Castle guests of all ages to get together and share in a game of volleyball... quickly becoming one of America's favorite beach sports!

The Beach House Restaurant offers convenient dining in a casual setting. In the mornings, a la carte breakfast and a breakfast buffet are served. There is also a breakfast menu just for kids. The Castle in the Sand Hotel is one of the only hotels in Ocean City, MD with food and beverage service on the beach. Keep your feet in the sand and a drink in your hand!
