Free children’s programs are available at The Castle in the Sand Hotel in Ocean City, MD from June 15 – August 24, 2025. Our kids’ entertainment is the perfect complement to your OCMD oceanfront accommodations, and will keep everyone engaged, and amused, and might even help kids find playmates on your beach vacation. A parent or caregiver must accompany their children during all sessions.
Pirate Day
Yo ho ho! Guests of all ages are welcome to make a pirate hat, don one of our sea dog costumes, take the “pirate oath,” and join our silly ragtag pirate crew! Captain Jade and Captain D will tell the story of the lost treasure and all of the buccaneers will set out in search of the buried treasure!
Arts and Crafts
From face painting and postcard making to crafting a message in a bottle or constructing a pet shell, creative fun is ready for every aspiring artist! Families can select shells to insert in their bottles and write a message. Bottles can be mailed directly, as is, through the USPS as a whimsical souvenir.
Family Movie Night
The Castle in the Sand Hotel projects a movie onto Castle North every Tuesday night in the summer from June 17 to August 19, 2025. The family-friendly film starts when the sun goes down. We’ll bring the popcorn!
